I'm Off the Clock

Work in a convenience store in a small city and people start to notice you.

This is what happens when I try and go out on a Saturday night with friends. I step outside of the grill for some fresh air and this conversation happens...

Jerk: Hey, ShopSmart girl! Can I get a pack of Parliments?

Ice Queen: Hey! Can you go f*** yourself?

I really said that. I need out.

I work in a grocery store in a smallish village on a smallish island.. and everywhere you go, someone knows you too. Have you ever been accused of being disloyal to your shop because you were in a different one? :/

His next trip in to the store for smokes should be interesting.

Reminds me of A Cinderella Story, where the jerks keep calling Hilary Duff "diner chick," even when she isn't working. Morons!
