Random Tuesday Thoughts

-My mom made me some chicken on her George Foreman. It was delicious. It then occurred to me that when I was living on my own we had a George Foreman in the apartment and I never touched it. I think I totally could have grilled some chicken. It looks pretty easy.

-When I left for work this morning there was frost on my car. Frost! Really?

-Am I the only one on the planet who hasn't seen "The Hangover"? This is pathetic. I need to see it so I can stop taking the "one man wolf pack" out of context. (Who says that???)

-Is it rude to unfriend someone on facebook? Would that person find out? I guess it's not that big of a deal but I'm just tired of seeing dumb status updates (i.e. THE ONE MAN WOLF PACK).

-Text of the day: "I was this close to having sex last night....FOILED AGAIN!"

-I went to my uncle's wedding this weekend. It was by far the oldest wedding ever. I think I'm going to write a whole post about it.

-There are so many good shows on tv now that I don't have time to watch them all! I hope at least 2 of them end up being crappy.

-I drove my sister to her Philadelphia college yesterday in my Eli Manning jersey. I got a lot of dirty looks. I really wanted to turn to one of those Eagles fans and whisper ever so lightly "How does it feel to have never won a Super Bowl?".

-Does anyone know how to clean a George Foreman? Maybe the UnMom knows.

I was just about to say....

George Foreman grills are great, until you have to clean one. I think the newer models have removable grill plates. That's the only way to go.

I have a Cuisinart Griddler - basically a panini press, but also perfect for grilling small amounts of food. And the grill plates pop right off for cleaning.

Loved your randomness. It was 92 degrees here today. No frost.

And it feels hellaciously crappy to never have won a Superbowl. I know from experience. BUT it feels good to finally win a flipping GAME said the Jaguar to the Giant.

the george forman is so hard to clean, particularly if you don't have the removable parts.

that text is hysterical.

Honestly I didn't see The Hangover either. I work with 5 guys who all saw it, so I think it ruined me on the movie. lol. Frost??? =( Not yet!!

Have you tried to Hide friends first? If your complaint is the status updates, that'll put a stop to it without the un-friending.

Good luck!

Pretty much stopped using the Foreman grill because of the cleaning - follow Alix's advice (smart lady our Alix).

Gawd I hope no one unfriends me on facebook but then I rarely look at the updates - far to inane for my liking.

I can't believe you haven't seen "The Hangover".

Come on,on facebook people usually have more than 100 friends which don't even know of their existence.:))

I haven't seen The Hangover either... Not even a preview. Now, that MUST be lame.
Frost?!? Oh, man. Not looking forward to that.

I LOVED the George Forman grill my family in California had. I miss it. I think my new roommate has one though, if so, I'm totally using it.

We usually just wipe it clean with a soapy cloth, and then again with a wet cloth to get the soap off. It get's hot enough it kills most of the bacteria and stuff later...

Oh, and I haven't seen the Hangover yet either. So don't feel so alone.

Visiting from Keely's!

There are a lot of great shows on now. Dexter started on Sunday!! It is my favorite.

I also want to see the Hangover. I was too cheap to pay for theater tickets. The movie did not have a lot of action that makes the big screen worth the $$

Frost!! Excellent. Winter is really on it's way. I'd be happy with a low 40 at night. And WTF is the Hangover? I am dumb like that. Unfriending-no questions asked. Just do what you've got to do! Happy RTT!

George grills are great but I had an old model and clean up was a nightmare!!

If you have the one with the removable grill then its awesome!

If you unfriend someone, they totally find out. I did that and WHOA did it cause conflict.

personally, I have always put it right next to the sink and washed it with a sponge, letting the water run out of it and into the sink, then using a cup to rinse it. Wiping it with disinfectant or degreaser afterwards couldnt hurt either

You are missing out, if you ask me. The Hangover was probably the only testosterone film I thought was hilariously funny all the way through. That says something.
love you!
