Theme Song Thursday and Fire Update

This song makes me feel better when things aren't going very well.

We got a call from the landlord today. The damage is very severe and the house won't be finished for months. We have to move. We don't know where we're going to go and we have very little furniture left. Our kitchen was destroyed so we don't have a refrigerator and my mother's bed was destroyed. We're looking for a place now and we're praying that we can find a place that will let us keep the dog. I think I would die if I lost my dog. I'm hoping that we can find something.

Do you have insurance? The insurance company should put you up in a hotel or something.

That is a great song - my dad is a big fan of those two!

Hang in there - prayers and thoughts for you and your dog. I wouldn't go anywhere without my pets either.

My God! That's horrible. Yo should make a list of things you need right now and post it here. I'm sure we (the readers) would be able to help out.
You're in my prayers.

I feel so sad for you. Big giant hugs!!! Definitely do not leave behind your pets. Your going to need them to hug at night.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Speak to your local churches and see if they have emergency funds. They will usually help even if you are not a member. I hope that you find a place soon. Things always seem a bit better when you have a place to put lay your head down.
